Why Infor Sponsored We Supply America
In today’s blog, I wanted to give some space to Kristen Monsey, Senior Marketing Manager from Infor, to talk about why they decided to sponsor We Supply America. Bethany Hepler from UnleashWD sat down with her for a quick Q&A about why Infor agreed it was important to invest in our campaign.

Why would a global company like Infor be interested in sponsoring Dirk and his mission?
Dirk has captured the spirit of what it means to be a distributor and is shining a light on the human stories behind it all. It’s such a new and unique way of capturing those stories and something that the country needs to hear more about. These people are the heart and soul of what keeps our country going behind the scenes, and it’s time to let them share the spotlight. As a country, we all need to hear more of these types of positive and inspiring stories.
Why is Infor sponsoring We Supply America?
Infor is sponsoring WSA because the vision Dirk has aligns so well with what we try to accomplish with our software. We want to help distributors innovate, grow and be successful, and that means taking away the burden of technology and instead allowing distributors to do what they do best. Infor aspires to be more than a software provider. We want to be a trusted partner to these companies and simply the tool that powers their vision in the background.
What does Infor hope to gain from sponsoring We Supply America?
By participating in this extraordinary campaign, we hope Infor will become more than “the best-kept secret” in distribution but instead be seen as the partner these distributors have been looking for to help them achieve their goals and grow with them. With our purpose-built solutions for the distribution industry, we hope to get a seat at the table anytime a distributor is searching for that one strategic initiative that will set them apart from the competition.
What does Infor hope We Supply America will accomplish?
We hope to see the We Supply America campaign go viral…not just within distribution but across the country. As Dirk has said several times, these are the unsung heroes of our country’s economy. We would also hope that these stories of resilience and innovation inspire the industry as a whole and help influence distributors who are maybe slower to adapt to changes and disruptors. There’s a bright future here for those willing to accept these changes and use them to their advantage rather than letting disruptors hold them back.

I couldn’t agree more. There are so many stories of inspirational leadership…of companies embracing the disruption to achieve even more success. External factors have created a crucible for the 30,000 family-run distribution companies across the country. Emerging on the other end of that crucible, I have seen innovative solutions and a tightening of the bonds between employees and their leadership. These relationships are symbiotic, and distribution companies have recognized that. That’s what it means to be in a business that treats all members like family. Because of that closeness, the teams are agile and willing to look to any point in the system for innovation.
I want to thank Infor and all our sponsors for believing in the We Supply America mission to celebrate the noble calling of distribution. I look forward to the series premiere when I get to share the stories I’ve been filming while on the road.
