We’ve seen a significant increase in the number of women employed over the past decade in the distribution industry as well as related industries. A recent survey by Gartner titled ‘Women in the Supply Chain 2021,’ revealed that 41% are women. Of those, 15% are in executive roles. These numbers have grown significantly, which is not surprising to me, judging by my experience dealing with the best and brightest in the distribution industry.
I wanted to feature some of the leading women in distribution in a seminar forum so they can share their stories of what it’s like to be in a traditionally male-dominated industry and how they have succeeded.
